Laura Vallejo-Torres

Laura Vallejo-Torres is an Associate Professor at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. She holds an MSc in Health Economics from the University of York and a Ph.D. in Health Economics from the University College London, England. She has over 15 years of experience in applied health economics research, a multidisciplinary field that has allowed her to build considerable expertise in a wide spectrum of conceptual and methodological areas, such as economic evaluation of health technologies, evaluation of health policies, and inequality analysis, among others. Her current main research interests include methodological aspects of the economic evaluation of healthcare technologies. She collaborates with the Spanish Network of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) units funded by the Ministry of Health and she was President of the Spanish Association of Health Economics.
